EGR valve squeak on BMW G70 models (2023–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11013115 · Jan 2025 · also written SI B35 01 23, B350123

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

When the brake pedal is pressed/ released, a creaking noise may be heard from the pedal area for the Integrated Brake System (IB). This noise may be present with the vehicle stationary and the engine running.
