SIB 41 02 19: Equipment cracking

Equipment cracking on BMW G05 models (2019); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10249019 · Jan 2024 · also written SI B41 02 19, B410219

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A crack maybe present on the left C-pillar. The crack does not affect the structure of the vehicle.
