SIB 51 02 24: Mirror squeak

Mirror squeak on BMW G45/G60/G01/G30 and other models (2023–2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11017280 · Apr 2025 · also written SI B51 02 24, B510224

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A squeaking sound is heard when folding either of the exterior mirrors assemblies in or out.
