SIB 51 03 23: Instrument cluster/panel service information

Instrument cluster/panel service information on BMW F39/F48/G70 models (2016–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10235183 · Mar 2023 · also written SI B51 03 23, B510323

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

While driving on rough roads, a knocking sound can be heard coming from top of the instrument panel (aka dashboard) in the bulkhead area.
