SIB 64 04 23: Air conditioning noise

Air conditioning noise on BMW G70 models (2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10236235 · Apr 2023 · also written SI B64 04 23, B640423

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The noise can be heard in the passenger compartment with the hood closed.
