SIB 52 02 21: Seat service information

Seat service information on BMW G01/G02/G05/G06 and other models (2018–2022); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10211861 · Mar 2022 · also written SI B52 02 21, B520221

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Milky-white stains (discolorations) in the leather are observed in the second-row seat bottom, backrests and/or headrests. Refer to attachment for details. This only affects vehicles with the Merino leather.
