What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
SEAT MEMORY SWITCH SPORADICALLY NOT FUNCTIONING. Selecting one of the saved seat positions (via the memory seat position switch on the door panel), fails to work. A saved seat position cannot be retrieved. The memory function works again after a terminal change or backrest width adjustment.
