SIB 52 08 25: Seat service information

Seat service information on BMW G70 models (2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11020067 · Jun 2025 · also written SI B52 08 25, B520825

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The rear seat leg rest can fold down when a heavy load/weight is placed on it.
