SIB 52 23 19: Seat noise

Seat noise on BMW G05/G06/G07/E53 and other models (2006–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10246302 · Nov 2023 · also written SI B52 23 19, B522319

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Two areas of the third-row seat backrest that may cause a noise concern have been added.
