SIB 54 05 25: Body service information

Body service information on BMW G01/G02/F97/F98 models (2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11024340 · Oct 2025 · also written SI B54 05 25, B540525

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A “popping” sound is heard coming from the Roof/B-pillar area when driving over small driveway curbs.
