BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10145337 · Jul 2018 · also written SI B61 05 18, B610518

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SERVICE ACTION: KLE - CONVENIENCE CHARGING ELECTRONICS I01 REX: OBD relevant diagnoses of the KLE (convenience charging electronics) cannot be processed correctly because of a data transmission error in the EME (electrical machine electronics).
