BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10163050 · Jun 2019 · also written SI B61 09 19, B610919

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SERVICE ACTION: CHECKING THE SIGNAL WIRE AT POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX. The lithium-ion battery in the dual storage system is connected to the terminal 30C to enable issuing a switch-off command in the event of a crash.
