Instrument cluster failure on BMW I12/I15 models (2014–2016); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147780 · Oct 2015 · also written SI B62 08 15, B620815

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Instrument Cluster intermittently inoperative. Intermittently the Instrument Cluster (Kombi) numerical displays are shown as just a line/dash.
