SIB 63 01 24: Exterior lighting service information

Exterior lighting service information on BMW G09/G30/G31/F39 and other models (2023–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11000509 · May 2024 · also written SI B63 01 24, B630124

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The overhead reading lights are not bright enough on SP21 (Service Pack 2021) vehicles.
