SIB 64 03 21: Interior/under dash service information

Interior/under dash service information on BMW G01/G02/G20/G21 and other models (2018–2021); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10205096 · Nov 2021 · also written SI B64 03 21, B640321

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

After replacing the microfilter during a previous service, the customer notices that the ventilation system airflow rate is noticeably less.
