What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

This Service Information bulletin supersedes SI B65 07 15 dated January 2016. SUBJECT Airbag Warning Light ON: Fault 930BE8, High-voltage System Shutdown. The airbag warning light in the instrument cluster is on, or the check control message (CCM) ""Restraint system faulty"" is displayed.
