SIB 65 12 26: Engine service information

Engine service information on BMW G42/G45/U10/U11 models (2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11034466 · Jun 2026 · also written SI B65 12 26, B651226

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The voice command to deactivate Automatic Engine Start/Stop function can also trigger the activation ofIconic Sounds.
