SIB 65 17 21: iDrive service information

IDrive service information on BMW G05/G06/G07/G14 and other models (2017–2021); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10201148 · Jul 2021 · also written SI B65 17 21, B651721

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The BMW key card cannot be activated. The activation menu in the BMW iDrive is missing.
