SIB 65 18 26: Electrical system service information

Electrical system service information on BMW G42/G45/U10/U11 models (2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11034469 · Jun 2026 · also written SI B65 18 26, B651826

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

If BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant is active in the vehicle, once the customer exits the vehicle and a newkey cycle starts, the Intelligent Personal Assistant is deactivated and no longer available.
