What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Remote Control Not Detected and/or Engine Will Not Start. One or more of the following situations can occur: 1. The remote control is not detected and the check control message (CCM) ""No remote control. Unable to start"" or ""Hold the remote control on the steering column"" is displayed. ?
