SIB 66 07 15: Parking sensors warning message

Parking sensors warning message on BMW F22/F23 models (2015–2016); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147270 · Sep 2015 · also written SI B66 07 15, B660715

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

After activation, the PMA (Parking Maneuvering Assistant) or PDC (Park Distance Control) system stops functioning and a CCM (Check Control Message) is displayed advising the driver of the failure.
