SIB 84 05 25: Telematics unit replacement

Telematics unit replacement on BMW G22/G23/G26/I20 models (2023–2025); the fix is replacing the affected part.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11022119 · Aug 2025 · also written SI B84 05 25, B840525

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SITUATION After the telematics module (TCB4) has been replaced, the replacement part control unit is not accepted byISTA.
