NHTSA 10059005: Warning message

Warning message on BMW E70/E71/F01/F02 and other models (2011); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10059005 · Jul 2015

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Engine failure warning and reduced engine output will occur due to high-pressure pump failure.
