What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Water has entered electronics box because the lid is not properly fitted. Once it is verified that water has indeed entered the electronics box, it will be necessary to replace both the lower part of the electronics box and the lid of the electronics box.
