SIB 25 01 10: Transmission service information

Transmission service information on BMW E90/E92/E93 models (2010); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10037070 · Sep 2010 · also written SI B25 01 10, B250110

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Gears may be shifting harsh due to arm bearing shafts in the transmission.
