What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Power-Assisted Steering Failure. The power-assisted steering fails with a warning lamp in the instrument cluster or a check control message in the Central Information Display. In some cases, the Dynamic Stability Control warning lamp (DSC) in the instrument cluster may also be illuminated.
