SIB 41 01 24: Structure service information

Structure service information on BMW I20 models (2022–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10253325 · Apr 2024 · also written SI B41 01 24, B410124

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A groaning sound from the front of the vehicle while driving can be heard, particularly while cornering.
