SIB 51 10 22: Noise service information

Noise service information on BMW I20 models (2022–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11014510 · Feb 2025 · also written SI B51 10 22, B511022

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Groaning noise in the front parcel shelf of the luggage compartment area. The noise is mostly head when the vehicle interior is cold.
