Seat noise on BMW G01/G02/E83/F25 and other models (2007–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10247574 · Dec 2023 · also written SI B52 18 23, B521823

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A noise can be heard from underneath the seat while the seat is being moved either forwards or backwards. This can occur to the driver"¢Â€Â™s and/or the passenger"¢Â€Â™s front seat.
