Air conditioning service information on BMW F48 models (2016–2017); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10146768 · Sep 2017 · also written SI B64 03 17, B640317

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

* A/C system is not providing sufficient cooling and the vehicle switch is NOT in ""Eco Pro"" position. * A/C system contains little or no A/C refrigerant. Contaminants under O-ring seals have allowed refrigerant loss."
