G20 M340i, G22/G23/G26 M440i, G30/G31 540i, G32 640i, G01/G02 X3/X4 M40i, G05/G06/G07 X5/X6/X7 40i, G11/G12 740i, G14-16 840i, G29 Z4 M40i, Toyota Supra. Most reports involve pumps with a plastic adjusting ring (built through about Oct 2020).

BMW documented a technical measure (PuMA 65494813): early pumps with a plastic adjusting ring are replaced by a revised metal-ring pump (11419895359 on G20/G30/G02-type; revised 11418646454 on G05/G12-type) plus a DME software update. It is not a recall or published warranty extension; coverage depends on warranty status and goodwill. Dealers often try the oil pressure control valve first. The job drops the front subframe and oil pan; xDrive cars also need the front differential and axles out.
