Which cars are affected

G20 M340i / M340i xDrive, G30 540i / 540i xDrive, G05 X5 xDrive40i, G01 X3 M40i (also G22/G26 M440i, G02 X4 M40i, G06/G07 40i). Pump version depends on build date and 48V mild hybrid.

The main B58 coolant pump on these cars is belt-driven. The B58 also has a small electric auxiliary pump (11515A30244, mainly for the heating/AC circuit) that is a different job; make sure the quote says which pump. Shops often suggest the thermostat (heat management module) at the same time, which raises the price. New and remanufactured genuine BMW water pumps bought from a dealer carry BMW's lifetime limited parts warranty (parts only after 2 years).
