BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10151190 · Mar 2016 · also written SI B64 03 16, B640316

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

To service vehicles equipped with R-1234yf refer to SI B04 02 16. Refer to your State Law. Unique low and high side fittings. Revised evaporator core as per SAE J2842. System will use about 5% more refrigerant than a comparable R134a system. System oil is a specific PAG oil.
