Telematics unit service information on BMW G11/G12/G20/G32 and other models (2011–2021); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10200249 · Jun 2021 · also written SI B84 02 21, B840221

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The discontinuation of 3G cellular communication for Combox, TCB 3G and ATM 3G (Telematics ControlModule) can no longer be supported by the cellular network provider starting February 2022.
