SIB 84 08 22: Manufacturer telematics service information
Manufacturer telematics service information on BMW G01/G02/G05/G07 and other models (2011–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10235205 · Mar 2023 · also written SI B84 08 22, B840822
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
The 3G network in the US has been shut down. This means that only the 4G network will be available. In the 4G network, voice calls will be transferred via the Voice over LTE (VoLTE) function. For this purpose, the SIM card must perform an IMS registration in the mobile communication network.
