Symptoms

Which cars are affected
M2, M3 and M4 (E9x, F8x, G8x) and other M cars. Active M Differential cars use a specific BMW differential oil.
A drain and refill with the correct BMW-approved differential oil. It's a short job, so most of the price difference is shop rate and oil price. BMW also changes this oil at the M break-in service (around 1,200 miles).
