Which cars are affected
2015–2020 F80 M3, F82/F83 M4 and F87 M2 Competition/CS. The factory plastic charge pipes can crack, especially with a tune and higher boost.
Most owners replace the plastic pipes with aluminum aftermarket pipes. It's a short job compared with downpipes, which are often fitted at the same time. The only public shop figures we found are labor-only quotes, so no full-job range is shown.
