- Recall 20V598: n/a; vehicle programing issue 530I, 540I, M5, M550I, X3, X4, 2020–2021. A small portion of the rearview image may be slightly obscured.
- Recall 19V883: wiring M5, M8, 2019–2020. The transmission wiring harness can become damaged, resulting in an electrical short circuit.
- Recall 19V684: camera 330I, 530E, 530I, 540D, 540I, 640I, 740LE, 740LI, 745LE, 750LI, 840I, M340I, M5, M550I, M850I, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7, Z4, 2018–2020. The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse.
- Recall 19V513: engine 750I, M5, M850I, X5, X7, 2019–2020. The high pressure fuel pump may not have been properly attached to the engine, which may cause the fuel pump flange to crack, resulting in a fuel leak.
- Recall 18V473: tank assembly M5, 2018. The fuel level sensor in the fuel tank may become stuck against an in-tank fuel line, causing the fuel gauge to display an inaccurate and possibly larger amount of fuel than is actually available.
- Recall 18V323: software M5, 2018. In certain driving conditions, the engine control unit software may cause the fuel pump to stop.
